A sign hung on the community board on Fudatenjin Street for the Tanabata Festival July 7th at Fudatenjin Shrine.

Decorations hung along the street leading to the shrine.

On July 6th, a priest and some workers put up bamboo branches with wishes hanging on them.

Children played and watched.

On the seventh, many people came.

Wishes and decorations fluttered from bamboo.

Vendors sold snow cones, cake pops, and crepes on the shrine grounds.
